2. Auto-line XL, XLE & XL-Lintra
The Sparkler Auto-Line filter is a continuously operating automatic self-cleaning filter. The
filtration principle is based on a asymmetric edge gap element where the particles are retained
on the inside of the filter element. In the cleaning cycle the particles are scraped to a sludge
chamber which can be drained at appropriate intervals. The Auto-line filter is operated by a
PLC or by a pneumatic controller. The Auto-line XLE and XL-Lintra are special models, which
are developed to protect the cylinder for possible product contamination. The Auto-line XLE is
an extended version and the Auto-line XL-Lintra a external one. The latter one is chosen when
height is limiting. These versions are the preferred models when filtering products like organic
solvents, polymers, adhesives etc.
The Sparkler Auto-line XL models are manufactured in stainless steel 316L.
The design accommodates the standard and regulations for pressure vessels
PED 97/23 with CE marking. The filter is delivered complete with PLC and
automated drain valve, ready for installation.
