1. CARTRIDGE FILTERS
Sparkler AHSS cartridge filters are suitable for all applications in the general process
industries. AHSS filters are designed to the rigid Sparkler standards, for applications up to
10 bar. Cover closures are available with VEE-Clamp, Rathmann- or swing bolted
construction, depending on the model. Recently we also introduced manual and fully
automated quick cover closures on our large models to decrease change out time of the
filtercartridges.
The filterhousings can be supplied in a range from one to over two hundred standard filter-
elements up to a maximal length of 40 inch. The filterhousings can hold either double open
end cartridges or for fine filtration several types of positive "O"-ring sealing.
We also built custom made filterhousings according to the rules of the pressure vessel
codes like Stoomwezen, TÜV, ASME.
GENERAL FEATURES:

• Design pressure 10 bar at 100°C
• All general used cartridge types applicable
• Special designs according code with stamp possible

• Stainless Steel: Electropolished and mechanically polished
or bead blasted depending on the model

• Quick cover closures, VEE-Clamp, swing bolted or
Rathmann bolted depending on the size of the filterhousing

• Screwed or flanged connections.
