mentoring
Mentoring children’s char-
acter is our primary focus. We
“inspire lives” using tennis as
a vehicle to teach principles of
life such as:
• Be honest
• Be a leader
• Do right=feel right
• Let go of anger & worry
• Deal with pressure
• Welcome adversity
• Distinguish real fun
from false fun
• Gain confidence
• Attitude is everything
• Eat right=feel right
• Stay calm
• Maximize your opportunities
Leadership Breakfasts bring in CEO’s, Sen-
ators and even a former President to discuss
with children what it takes to be happy and
successful in life.
Daily outings, dinners and conversations
with children help them work through their
problems to instill understanding. This in-
cludes drug and alcohol, family relationships
and mental toughness counseling.
education
Straight A’s Club gives incentives and special
trips to children who maintain a 3.5 GPA or higher.
Reading & Writing for Intelligence
includes journaling, public speaking, debate, reading
and essay assignments.
Junior Reporters write articles for Vegas-
Tennis.com or Inside Tennis Magazine.
Our DVD Movies with Wisdom are given to
children to inspire them to greatness.
Princeton Review SAT prep, “How to Get a
College Scholarship” seminars, college placement coun-
seling and tutoring are available to all the children.
Our Tennis Apprentice work program
teaches the Leadership Program students a
variety of business and life skills to prepare them for
leadership. We have partnerships with other busi-
nesses and organizations for internships as well.

community outreach
Our pyramid approach gives an incentive for a player to go to
the next level. We provide free beginner and intermediate tennis
clinics to community schools, foster homes and parks for
thousands of youth.
For those who want to advance, we negotiate deals
with local pros for discounted rates for training, which
leads to high performance opportunities.
Those willing to advance can qualify for our tourna-
ment play scholarships, tutoring, mentoring and trav-
el team opportunities in our Leadership Program.
Our Leadership Program has a 100 percent
success rate in getting students college scholar-
ships. Top students are eligible for intern-
ships, special trips and the Wolfington
Family East Coast Leadership Tour.
Thirty foundation children have
earned college scholarships for
tennis and academics.
Travel Team
To get a college scholarship children have to play
national tournaments to receive a national ranking. We
negotiate deals for foundation players training as well
as travel to tournaments as a team in an effort to gain
ranking points while maximizing donor dollars.

Eat Right=Feel Right
Our whole foods eating program educates children on the benefits of “Eating Right to Feel
Right.” After discussing the negatives of soda and junk food, they migrate towards better food
choices. Healthy food plans are given to them along with health articles and recipes so that they
can learn to prepare quality food to feed their bodies.
positive
social life
Youth are faced with a
negative social life every
weekend or the alternative
of boredom. We designed a
“Positive Social Life” option
to create a healthy group
of friends with trips, activi-
ties, concerts, plays, camp-
ing, soccer, basketball,
dancing, karaoke, rafting,
swimming, golf, pro ten-
nis events, community
tennis ball and awards
banquet, historical and
cultural exhibits, movie
nights and dinners.
By occupying a child’s
down-time with fun ac-
tivities, they get a break
from school and tennis
and learn how to enjoy
life the right way.
work program
Children are asked to earn their way by giving back to the Foundation in the form of mentor-
ing and coaching younger players, helping with events and taking on projects. This instills confi-
dence, know-how, leadership and appreciation of what they’ve been given.
For us, a child is considered finished with the Foundation when they are out of college, have
found their passion in life and are working for themselves or in an organization they enjoy.

Tomchin Family west coast
leadership tour
The Tomchin Family West Coast Leadership Tour was created by Stan Tomchin, an Advisory
Board member. He sponsors and travels with the children to Santa Barbara, California, and
Vancouver, British Columbia.
The Tomchin Family West Coast Leadership Tour includes two extraodinary trips. One is a
friendly competition between Vancouver and Las Vegas called the Stanley Cup. Vancouver hosts
the Las Vegas youth once a year and then Las Vegas reciprocates and hosts the Vancouver youth.
Not only do they play tennis, engage in dialogue and debate, but they are treated to a cultural
experience and exposed to great speakers.
The other tour is to the Tomchin family estate in Santa Barbara, where the children learn
about organic gardening, composting, nutrition, cooking, yoga, backgammon, theater and the
benefits of a whole foods-based diet. This includes a seminar on nutrition from co-author of The
Pleasure Trap, Dr. Alan Goldhammer. The children also visit Los Angeles to meet with actors
and film directors.

history
Ryan Wolfington is the founder of Vegastenniscom. Marty Hennessy is a legend in
the tennis world. Together they created Vegastennis.com’s Marty Hennessy Junior Ten-
nis Foundation where they raised over $1,500,000.00 for children in need. Thanks to the
help of Tony Bennett, Rita Rudner and Mike Agassi the Foundation started in 2002 with
the need of one child, Frederic Prandecki. Since then it has organically grown to serve
thousands of children and taken on a passion of its own, complete with alumni, tradi-
tion and a sense of family. This Foundation is a labor of love and has grown to include
most of the Southern Nevada tennis community.
With 45 children in college on scholarship, playing tennis directly because of the
Foundation, a set of lifetime relationships has been put into motion and are reunited
each college break. As a result, the children, alumni, mentors and donors have taken on
a meaning deeper than anyone could have ever imagined.
“Marty Hennessy does so much for
so many. He is my favorite person in
the whole world.”
— Tony Bennett
“If not for the Foundation I would
not be at college, period.”
— Frideric Prandecki,
NC State, Captain
“The Foundation saved my life.”
— Edgardo Ureta, Hartford University
“Watching Frideric I was inspired to be a role
model for others, like he was for me.”
— Patrick Kawka, No. 20 USA, BYU

Vegastennis.com’s Marty Hennessy Jr. Tennis Foundation Tomchin Family west coast leadership tour The Tomchin Family West Coast Leadership Tour was created by Stan Tomchin, an Advisory Board member. He sponsors and travels with the children to Santa Barbara, California, and Vancouver, British Columbia. The Tomchin Family West Coast Leadership Tour includes two extraodinary trips. One is a friendly competition between Vancouver and Las Vegas called the Stanley Cup. Vancouver hosts the Las Vegas youth once a year and then Las Vegas reciprocates and hosts the Vancouver youth. Not only do they play tennis, engage in dialogue and debate, but they are treated to a cultural experience and exposed to great speakers. The other tour is to the Tomchin family estate in Santa Barbara, where the children learn about organic gardening, composting, nutrition, cooking, yoga, backgammon, theater and the benefits of a whole foods-based diet. This includes a seminar on nutrition from co-author of The Pleasure Trap, Dr. Alan Goldhammer. The children also visit Los Angeles to meet with actors and film directors. 8 Children in free community program in North Las Vegas, thanks to Stan, Cheryl and friends Santa Barbara, CA Vancouver, Canada
  • 9. www.LasVegasTennis.com history Ryan Wolfington is the founder of Vegastenniscom. Marty Hennessy is a legend in the tennis world. Together they created Vegastennis.com’s Marty Hennessy Junior Ten- nis Foundation where they raised over $1,500,000.00 for children in need. Thanks to the help of Tony Bennett, Rita Rudner and Mike Agassi the Foundation started in 2002 with the need of one child, Frederic Prandecki. Since then it has organically grown to serve thousands of children and taken on a passion of its own, complete with alumni, tradi- tion and a sense of family. This Foundation is a labor of love and has grown to include most of the Southern Nevada tennis community. With 45 children in college on scholarship, playing tennis directly because of the Foundation, a set of lifetime relationships has been put into motion and are reunited each college break. As a result, the children, alumni, mentors and donors have taken on a meaning deeper than anyone could have ever imagined. “Marty Hennessy does so much for so many. He is my favorite person in the whole world.” — Tony Bennett “If not for the Foundation I would not be at college, period.” — Frideric Prandecki, NC State, Captain “The Foundation saved my life.” — Edgardo Ureta, Hartford University “Watching Frideric I was inspired to be a role model for others, like he was for me.” — Patrick Kawka, No. 20 USA, BYU 9 Frideric Prandecki Tony Bennett, Mike Agassi, Ryan Wolfington, Marty Hennessy Frideric with real Rudy from the blockbuster movie
