Rufus Akinrinlola is a PhD Student and Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Tennessee Knoxville where he studies plant diseases. He helps to provide Tennessee growers with information they need to make better crop management decisions. Rufus has a Master Degree in Plant Pathology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where he also served as a Graduate Research Assistant for over two years. He received his Bachelor’ Degree in Microbiology from Adekunle Ajasin University, Nigeria. Rufus has worked as a Biology and Agricultural Science teacher in different high schools in Nigeria.
