1. 16 XPOSÉ NOVEMBER 2016 NOVEMBER 2016 XPOSÉ17
PRESENTER XDIARY
I’ve been cheating on my
Charlotte Tilbury and Nars
make-up recently and having a
little affair with Giorgio Armani!
Don’t tell. I’ve always used
Giorgio Armani Luminous
Foundation, €45, but recently
I’ve been loving their Sheer Fluid
Highlighter, €45. I use it on the bridge
of my nose, cheekbones and under the
eyebrow arch. It gives that perfect
radiant glow that lasts–not too sparkly
or too shiny. 10 out of 10!

STAR STYLE
Dakota Johnson’s
I’ve been digging Dakota Johnson’s style for a
while now. I Google-stalk her street style on a
regular basis. She always nails that downtown
NYC cool/casual look and I almost died when I
saw her head-to-toe Gucci outfit heading into
the Gucci s/s 17 show in Milan a few weeks ago.
The studded, oversized denim jacket over the
floaty bohemian dress was perfection. And can
we talk about those leather boots and red bag?
Be still my beating heart! She has a close
relationship with Gucci’s new creative director
Alessandro Michele, whose
wardrobe I would also like to raid!
She also looked divine in
this Gucci dress at a
LACMA event in LA.
Mustard yellow is one of
my favorite colors this
season. Swooooon!
Loving vs
Loathing
F
rom New York to Paris–I’ve been
clocking up XPOSÉ air miles! I
survived fashion month and enjoyed
every second. I kicked off our XPOSÉ
coverage at New York then went onto London,
skipped Milan and finally made it to Paris–
très magnifique! I actually had a dream I
covered PFW and the next day at XPOSÉ HQ
I was told I was going on assignment–clearly I
dream in fashion. It was meant to be! It’s
notoriously difficult to get into any of the Paris
shows. However the access is only getting
bigger and better at XPOSÉ all the time. This
year we flew over with Catrice make-up who
were collaborating with cool Berlin brand
Kaviar Gauche. The show was held at a
stunning location near the Eiffel Tower. We
went backstage and then I got to sit FROW at
the show. On Sunday I was lucky enough to go
backstage at Roland Mouret’s show at Hôtel
Potocki. Suffice to say, backstage was pure
madness. Three of the models were
running late from the Valentino show so
once they arrived they had a village of
people working on them. Make-up
genius Val Garland created a glowy-
bronzed look using MAC Cosmetics.
Paris was by far the most glamorous
city for street style but I wouldn’t
expect anything less.
LOVING: Hôtel Costes in Paris. My
birthday happened to fall on the same
weekend I was in Paris for Paris
Fashion Week–lucky me! After we
finished filming and went to the swanky
Catrice dinner, I met up with my friend
Jen who was also over at PFW for work.
She’s in Paris all the time for work and
insisted that we went to Hôtel Costes
for my bday celebrations. Hôtel Costes
is known as the Chateau Marmont of
Paris! It’s Kim and Kanye’s fave place
in Paris and Balmain held a party there
the night before…
LOVING: Angelina’s Restaurant,
Dublin. This little gem of a restaurant
at Percy Place reminds me so much of
some of my favorite foodie places in
LA. The terrace is ideal for sunny
evenings overlooking the canal and
equally inside the restaurant feels cosy
if it’s a cold night. It’s the perfect
restaurant for all occasions. I’ve gone
here on dates, with a group of
girlfriends and with my parents! My
last tip–get the chocolate brownie!
LOATHING:
The lack of global
WiFi. I would like
to start a petition
to get global WiFi...
WiFi everywhere
for everyone!
While traveling abroad it irked me so
much that there wasn’t WiFi in various
places. My bloody data roaming kept
running out! It felt like my arm had
been chopped off not being able to
access the Internet while working
backstage at some of the shows.

Raise your hand if you wish Sex and the City
never ended! I’m still obsessed and love
re-watching old episodes. I was even happier
when I discovered the instagram account
@everyoutfitonsatc. It’s basically a satirical
take on outfits from the show. The captions
are everything. I dare you not to chuckle
when you read them.

Beauty Pick Rodial Snake
Serum, €139.95
It’s that time of year when it’s
essential to add a serum to my
skin routine as it’s getting so
cold. I just started using
Rodial Snake Serum which
I’m pretty impressed with.
Anything that says snake
serum on the bottle sounds
like serious business!
