All India Rank in CA Final and 8th All India Rank in CS Final at the age of 22 and 23 years.
 My parents are my pride, my wife my friend and my children my strength. My wife is a
homemaker and DMI expert, my son pursuing CA course and my daughter studying in Class 11
EXPERIENCE
 Experience comes not just from number of years (27 years) in profession, but from wide range
of exposure and the learnings from good and difficult times in life and in industry
 It has made me a better human being, having a lot of patience, improved my strength and
learning on how to overcome my weakness. I have grown along with the company and have
supported it during recessionary and difficult times
 My 15 years in my current company has seen the start-up company, when I joined as the 37th
associate (today there are 1700), to grow from Head Finance to CFO where DQ Entertainment
is presently listed at AIMs London Stock Exchange, BSE and NSE

 I am deeply involved with Lions Club wherein I have been a successful Club President, Zone
Chairperson, Region Chairperson, District Secretary and District Chairperson. Presently, I am

Member needs during day to day activities

2. PROFESSION EXPERIENCE
Fund raising
 Raised over Rs.10000mn vide series of Private Equity, Bank funding from various banks and IPO
in London and India, which required due diligence and structured environment based on strong
team work at all level of management and cross functional support
 Seen difficult times in the industry in the last four years (as USA and Europe had seen turmoil)
had seen the company into the SMA categorization and the challenges to come out of it
Working Capital Management
 Budgeting and its approval from the Board and also from the bankers is the start point
 Timely payments including payroll (70% of expense) and banking dues for around 13 years in
the present assignment. The last 2 years have seen deep depression in the industry, its
challenges and learning ensured the company to start coming out of the difficult times
 Cost control and project based costing has had been important for success of the company
 Dealing with foreign exchange transactions, risk coverage and mitigation
Business Model and Strategic Planning
 CEO and Promoters ideas and business acumen is converted into a Business Model based on
brain storming within senior management. As a CFO I have been part of the positive movement
in the Business Model from outsourcing, to co-production business, and now Intellectual
Property business with 360 degree exploitation, similar to Walt Disney model
 Business Model may be industry specific, but the understanding this movement enables a
Finance person to move from industry to industry as a part of career plan and growth
Legal and negotiation
 My career has enabled good reading legal contracts and also finalise multi-national
commercial agreements, which can be closed successfully only by way of usage of reasonably
good negotiation skills which has had been appreciated
Accounting, Auditing and Taxation
 As the group has presence in different countries accounting has had been under multi-GAAP
environment where we have worked in IFRS and IGAAP accounting environments
 Over a period of years I have had the opportunity to work with Big 4 Audit Firms and also mid-
sized Audit firms for closing the Quarterly results, Annual audit and also series of Due Diligence
 As every MNC has group company transactions and also structuring transactions transfer
pricing and international taxation is a part of life. TP study, assessment, appeals are a part of
the work of my team. Naturally, it has been carried out with support from expert consultants
