It was a question about agile business intelligence (BI) that Forrester Consulting put to the test in a commissioned study con-ducted
on behalf of SAP. The study asked 368 business and IT decision makers across industries and around the world to better
understand the agility of their BI applications and environment.
IT-optimized enterprise BI applications are robust and scalable – but must also be agile.
Enterprise BI applications deliver strong data reliability and governance, business alignment, and scalability. However, they don’t always
have the flexibility required for today’s markets.
