Books about “owning the room” and “getting results” and “how to make people like you”- It’s no wonder we’re all so intimidated by the idea of having to network. These titles don’t exactly inspire confidence of excitement Explain what networking is to you… what is networking to you?
I.E: Making connection with eachother Everything you do when you interact with another person is ‘an informal sharing of ideas’ Does this seem accurate to you?
Truths: Networking- like any other task- takes practice. And even those good at it network differently. You already do network- as I said before, everyone in you life was met through some form of networking (family aside). It only takes one contact! Again networking is how we meet everyone in our lives.
