As the college's only research facilitator in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, I lead the development of proposals to external agencies for research projects (capital and operating funding). I identify and communicate funding opportunities to prospective applicants and senior management, help researchers develop and scope their projects, edit/write proposals and develop project budgets, provide mentoring and coaching to applicants, and develop strategies and initiatives designed to increase faculty participation and establish an innovation culture.
