*The need for this project is that it can help you
practice if nobody is playing with you outside.
3. *We chose this need
*We chose this need because you can’t practice
alone in sports and you can’t play alone
someone can’t throw because the ball to you
or catch what you throw and can’t lift you up
when you fall down
4. *
*The steps to design a prototype is that you
have to cut the cardboard with a cardboard
cutter. The cardboard acts as a catcher. Throw
a soccer ball or baseball into the hole. We
used cardboard to reach the height of the
object . We made something with cardboard so
you can practice pitching alone or use the
cardboard as a goal and to work on your aim.

*The Materials needed for our project are
cardboard , tape, hot glue, Sharpies , Oatmeal
can , and Scissors. Made by: Nathaly , Kennedy,
Zoelyn, Tydan , and Simeon.
6. *
*Step one: Use the cardboard as the catching
device for the soccer and baseball/softball.
Step two: Hot glue the box together and cut a
big hole in the middle. Step three: Finally, add
extinctions to the bottom of the box to make it
tall enough to throw or kick a soccer ball or
baseball/softball.

*The base worked well as the main catching
device/goal. We had to change the main idea
because we didn’t have wood. We also had to
change the idea that we could have more than
one hole. Another thing that we had to change
was the idea of having more higher cardboard
to make it tall. The support on the bottom
worked well because it can stand without
anything holding it.
8. *
*We changed the legs from wood to cardboard.
We also changed how many holes we did and
we changed how many sports balls that you can
throw it in. In addition we changed the high of
the cardboard.
9. *
*In Conclusion, our project worked well because
the cardboard held the base up higher so that
when you throw a ball it can catch it in
different heights.
10. *
*We would’ve used wood to hold up the whole
structure and we would’ve cut many holes for
other sports.
