3. Chlamydia
• Most common sexually
transmitted bacterial infection
• Infects the cervix and can spread
to fallopian tubes
• Can cause chronic bladder
infections, permanent infertility
and in men it could spread to
testicles which can cause male
infertility
What is it?

were reported ages
15-24

4. Chlamydia (cont’d)
• Usually there are no symptoms
but if there is it includes pain
while urinating, vaginal bleeding,
painful intercourse, stomach pain,
and for men swelling in testicles
