 Exchanging Ideas Through Conversation

             Sahar Consulting, LLC
            www.saharconsulting.com
The idea of our signature
product D.I.A.L.O.G.™
originated from our strong
belief that exchanging
ideas through
conversations is the way to
build bridges between
gaps to enable people to
reach an
understanding, sensitivity
level and appreciation of
each other no matter how
different or similar they are.

                   difference; clarify and address
                   issues of potential conflict and
                   challenge them to rethink their
                   hidden bias and prejudice through
                   sharing of
                   feelings, emotions, thoughts and
                   experiences considering

OBSTACLES TO DIALOGUE
There are many common obstacles that prevent
dialogue from emerging. Removing sources of
fear, suspending the exercise of
power, eliminating external influences, removing
distractions, and providing excellent
communication conditions can all promote
dialogue

 Fear
 External Constraints

 Distractions

 Poor Communication

 D.I.A.L.O.G.™ between Cultures
 D.I.A.L.O.G.™ between Genders

 D.I.A.L.O.G.™ between Religions

 D.I.A.L.O.G.™ between different Sex orientations

 D.I.A.L.O.G.™ between Generations

 D.I.A.L.O.G.™ between different personalities

 D.I.A.L.O.G.™ between Diverse teams

 D.I.A.L.O.G.™ between Abilities& Disabilities
D.I.A.L.O.G.™ BETWEEN CULTURES
Culture is the lens we view the World
through, it controls
actions, values, beliefs, attitudes and
behaviors. Dialogue is a way of
observing how hidden values and
intentions can control our
behavior, and how unnoticed cultural
differences can clash without our
realizing what is occurring. Through
dialogue increased
harmony, fellowship and creativity can
arise. Dialogue can be used to open
communication, break down
stereotypes and facilitate more
productive relationships.
D.I.A.L.O.G.™ BETWEEN GENDERS
Women executives are on the rise
in the corporate world.
Men and Women think, speak and
decide differently.
Dialogue is how you communicate
 across difference, and
misunderstandings in a way that is
both respectful and effective.
Dialogue builds mutual trust and
 respect, by breaking down gender
 stereotypes and improve
 communications between men and
 women at work
D.I.A.L.O.G.™ BETWEEN GENERATIONS
The key to Dialogue between
older, younger and generations in
between is to promote mutual
understanding, tolerance and
appreciation of the different cultures of
all the generations at play.
Dialogue can uncover how different
personal and world views of different
generations can lead to
misunderstandings and distrust, helps
overcome age barriers, develops
further intellectual life for the benefit of
the organization, and build more
productive workplace relationships.
D.I.A.L.O.G.™ BETWEEN RELIGIONS
Claims to exclusive truth and
absoluteness threaten to damage or
even wreck the dialogue of religions.
Respect and tolerance with regard to
other religions is a fundamental
prerequisite for interreligious dialogue
and co-operation.
The dialogue will focus on human
interaction and peaceful behavior that
will create at least an understanding
and respect of different
theories, behaviors and beliefs while
asserting their own
D.I.A.L.O.G.™: SEXUAL ORIENTATION
Achieving understanding of a different
sexual orientation or gender identity is
a challenge of knowledge, experience,
and empathy as they are not always
obvious. , Sexual orientation is at the
core of the very personal of feelings
and behaviors.
Dialogue will let us re-examine our
attitudes, ask questions, seek
knowledge, and reflect on our
perceptions, and beliefs. The bridge is
crossed from opinion, to knowledge, to
understanding
D.I.A.L.O.G.™ BETWEEN ABILITIES&
               DISABILITIES
A disable person as defined by the
“ADA” is someone who has a
physical or mental impairment, or
has a record of such impairment or
is regarded as having such an
impairment, that substantially limits
that person in one or more life
activities.
Dialogue will reach beyond the
protective laws to discover the
thoughts, feelings, perceptions of a
disable individual; it will help
understand these individuals’ unique
qualities and assets, varied
experiences that can enhance a
company’s culture.
