This document provides details for planning a family day celebration event in November 2015 in Delhi NCR. It outlines a 5 day pre-event engagement plan including teasers, posters, invites, cultural activities and contests to generate excitement. The main event will be divided into cultural zones representing different parts of India with performances, food stalls, activities and entertainment. We will be putting up a 2 in 1 Tease cum Dangler which
will be a Multi Lingo message.
HELLO in various Languages on one Side and the LOGO
on another side. Also having their ZONE’s Famous
Architectures
It will look somewhat like this:

10. Rangoli
As we know that Rangoli is one of the main and common
traditions of INDIA. We can use it at the workplace.
We will make beautiful Rangoli at the RECEPTION area.
It will be a surprise for people. Suddenly they come and
see it at the entry.
Day 2

11. The Culture Shock
It will be an activity full of surprises and shocks.
Performed at the workplace. We will send 4 Dancers
dressed based on each Zone of India.
Sending them at different intervals at the workplace
along with some music and goodies to give to
employees.
He/She will dance on the respective tracks and engage
the crowd.
Day 3

12. INDI Day
The day where all the employees have to come dressed
up representing their own Culture.
Be it Punjabi, Gujarati, Marathi, South India, Bengali etc.
Everyone will have to dress up according to their culture
and celebrate the cultures of India together.
We can also have a Jam Session on the same day where
we play various tracks from different languages and
everyone can dance.
Day 4

13. INDI Khana Khazana
The day when everyone bring home cooked food of their
culture.
Its going to be the Cultural Food Sharing Day for
everyone and we will celebrate the Taste of various
Indian Culture.
This will be a superb activity which will create lot of
excitement among the employees.
Day 4

14. The Incredible Family
Each employee gets an Event Logo on one side and the
lucky draw filling space on the other.
The employee has to go home and get a picture clicked
with the family having that logo in the hand and submit
it to the HR.
One submitted, the pictures will be used for the collage
which will be displayed at the main event.

15. Teach Your Lingo
This day everyone will become a teacher of their
colleagues. Employees from different zones will make
their colleague learn a nice line or intro in their native
lingo.
At the end of the day we can conduct an activity where
employees speak the learned lines or messages in front
of all.
It will be a funny activity surely.
Day 5

16. Modern India Quiz Contest
We will employees to form teams on their own and participate in
this Modern India Quiz Contest.
Questions will be based on the India Progressing in the field of
Technology and Innovation.
For Ex:
In which year Computer first came to India ?
The first time India used Internet ?
First Mobile Phone ever launched in India ?
When was 2G Launched ?
First Metro Train in India ?
What is the Name of the fastest Indian Railways Train ?
First Indian Telecom Company to start selling Sim Cards ?
Etc Etc. We can form lot of questions like that and play the quiz.

17. Make In India Week
A week long activity for everyone to complete.
We will put a Huge White Board which will have the outline of
the Make in India Logo.
It will also have the Color Codes written on it. The employees will
have to fill the colors and complete the artwork in 5 days.
Each day employees will have to come and paint this beautiful
artwork and ask all others to do the same.
This will be called an Artwork MADE IN RBS by all the RBS
Employees.

18. Lucky Indian
The Event Logo Card given to all the employees will be
used for the Lucky draw after the Selfie Contest.
The employees will fill the same and submit it in the
lucky draw box put at the reception.
The final LUCKY INDIAN will be announced on the Main
Event Day.

The Main Event will be a blend of all Indian Cultures
together at one place.
Will have lot of Culture Based Activities, Décor, Props,
Food, Engagements etc.
People will be surprised and amazed to see the

During the Pre – Event, we will call entries for the RBS
Talent Hunt.
Interested participants will have to prepare an act
around the Indian Culture Theme.
The final contestants will be shortlisted for the FINALE
and the performance will happen at the main event.
This will be one activity which will create lot of buzz as
the Winner will get exciting goodies as prize.

70. Internal Dance Performance
We can also get some really entertaining acts prepared
from the employees.
Two really engaging suggested dance forms can be:
BHANGRA & DANDIYA !
We give Bhangra and Dandiya props to everyone and can
engage people along.

71. Raas Leela
RAAS LEELA is a very simple, beautiful and divine act
which everyone will like.
We can get the Dance Troupe perform the same and
make other also do some very easy steps.
Can also give some props related to Lord Krishna.
Males can become Lord Krishna and Females can
become GOPIYAN.

72. Cultural Treasure
Find Your Treasure by solving given clues and make your
team win.
We will make some really confusing yet simple clues for
the treasure hunt around the theme.
Emcee will ask the audience to form teams and give
them clues.
Teams will have to solve the clues WIN.
The treasure can be with the Dancers/Performers in
different Zones of the venue.

73. Indian Moves
We will have different dancers from various cultures
performing in the respective zones.
We will get them on stage and ask people from the
audience to come on stage and learn the different culture
dance steps on the spot.
The song will be common for everyone.
Everyone dancing on one song but doing different
cultural dance steps will look fantastic.

Emcee playing a Quiz Contest about India and its
cultures.
Calling a few teams having two members each.
We can give teams some funny hooters/blow horns to
make it more entertaining for everyone.
