and civil law. The Firm supports and actively works towards expeditious
settlement of disputes, which facilitates and promotes business development. The
Firm supports resolution of commercial disputes through alternative dispute
resolution mechanisms.
Corporate& Commercial
The Firm assists foreign entities to establish presence in India through a liaison,
branch or project office or through a subsidiary company or a joint venture or an
export oriented unit. Post establishment of presence in India, the Firm provides
assistance on regulatory issues and filings, compliances as also commercial
transactions as may be necessary and for establishing a framework for corporate
governance.
As regards Indian corporate, the Firm assists in all aspects of their operations, such
as acquisition / leasing of property, commercial contracts, corporate & financial

Vijay is one of the partners of the Firm. Vijay was admitted to the Bar Council of
in 2004 and has over 13 years of experience in his practise areas of corporate
litigations, mediation arbitrations including and commercial transactions. He
represents clients before various forums such as Courts, Tribunals, arbitral
tribunals and other judicial and quasi-judicial authorities. Before setting up VKS
Legal, Vijay was an independent counsel.

Sahil Sharma
Partner
Sahil is one of the partners of the Firm. Sahil has a degree in law from Bharati
Vidyapeeth University, Pune and is a member of the Bar Council. He has
represented DDA in various matters before the High Court of Delhi and has
considerable experience in civil and criminal cases before District Courts of Delhi,
service matters before Central Administrative Tribunals, legal opinions, RTI
appeals before the Department and Central Information Commissions, consumer
cases, filing complaints and FIR in police stations and legal due diligence, etc.
Before setting up VKS Legal, Sahil worked with an independent counsel where he
gained experience in matters pertaining to DDA, civil and criminal cases, etc.
Before pursuing law, Sahil did his Masters in Marketing Management and worked
for almost 2 years with marketing profile.
