1. There are a lot of vibrant colours behind him which suggests the party environment he is in.
He is also wearing the camouflage which makes us think he is at war with himself or
something else. The background has informal balance, there are bars blocking him away
from this background, which suggests his is locked away from the outside world and can
express himself is through his music.
In this picture there is informal symmetry and balance. He has his top off which shows all his
tattoos, which are quite graphic which could be about his life. He is also smoking what
seems to be an illegal substance which therefore makes him to be a rebellious character
with no fears. The tattoos of tears may be suggesting the pain he has been through,
shedding tears because of this. These tear drops also symbolise in rap music if someone has
had someone close to them murdered.

2. This portrait uses the rule of thirds, there is something tasking place in the entire picture.
We see one part of the picture there is a Cuban cigar, which is a luxury item, there are also
huge glasses of expensive red wine which suggests the party lifestyle and wealth that he
has. Also to do with wealth he has a gold watch and ring on. He has a smile on his face
which suggests that he is happy in the place he is in.
In this picture informal balance is used, as there are two males on each side of the picture
who are roughly the same build. This picture also uses the rule off thirds. We see in the
picture that they are on a beach looking relaxed and rugged; it is very casual and relaxing to
look at. I think the picture is like this because it imitates there style of music.

3. In this picture Stevie Wonder is wearing bright orange and gold colours which could suggest
he sings about happy things. These particular colours and clothing also make him stand out
which before his music, he may never have had the chance to do. The microphone is a focal
point as it takes up half of the picture; this could be insinuating he is passionate about his
music. In this picture we also see a glimpse of Stevie Wonder’s eye, we know that he is
blind, but it is showing us that he is trying to look at the crowd and see his fans.
