• Medical sales representatives, widely referred to as reps, are a key link
between medical and pharmaceutical companies and healthcare
professionals.
• As a rep you'll sell your company's products, which include medicines,
prescription drugs and medical equipment, to a variety of customers
including general practitioners (GPs), hospital doctors, pharmacists and
nurses. You'll work strategically to increase the awareness and use of
your company's pharmaceutical and medical products.
• It's likely that you'll be based in a specific geographical location and
specialise in a particular product or medical area. You may have to
make presentations and organize group events for healthcare
professionals, as well as working with contacts on a one-to-one basis.

• To meet doctors and promote company brands with help of visual aid and
generate prescription, meet chemist and wholesaler to collect order and achieve
Target.
• As a rep you'll sell your company's products, which include medicines, prescription

and achieve target.
9. JOB RESPONSIBILITY OF MR
• To achieve budget regularly and show consistency in sale.
• Do closing by collecting orders from stockiest & send to CFA to do target
• Push to sale new products launches and maximize sale of newer brands
• Arrange appointments with doctors, pharmacists and hospital medical teams, which
may include pre-arranged appointments or regular 'cold' calling.
• Plan important and focus doctors call in Senior Joint Working.
• Distribute high value input with Senior
• Make presentations to doctors like GP, CP, Pedia, Gyn etc as per brands with visual
aid and make presentation to chemist by Range cards. Collect POBs(Personal Order
Booking) from Dr. and Chemist.
• Place Daily Reminder to focus doctors to remind our brands.
• Monitor Secondary Sale( sale from wholesale to retail chemist called Secondary sale).
• Do regular reporting to company
10. • Win new customers, as well as developing long-term relationships with existing ones
• Plan work schedules and weekly and monthly timetables with the area sales team or
discuss future plan with the area sales manager
• Regularly attend company meetings, technical data presentations and briefings.
• Analyze sales data to improve results and make sure resources are effectively
allocated
• Monitor competitor activity and competitors' products

• Organize conferences for doctors and other medical staff.
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with medical staff and support
administrative staff.
• Keep up to date with the latest clinical data supplied by the company, and interpret,
present and discuss this data with health professionals during presentations
