I- 1 INTRODUCTION
Biology is the branch of science which deals with the study of living organisms. We are living beings and we interact with other living organisms. We also interact with the non-living (abiotic) things in our world. To understand biology is begin to understand our place on earth. What ever we do we are a living organism first. We will affect the things around us. So its important to understand our place in this whole scheme of things. The reason we are having so much trouble today is because very few people understand biology. Today we have people crying about global warming carbon foot prints, rape of the environment etc. but these problems would no exist today if everyone understand biology. These problems were here decades ago but until it hit our pocket book did we start to take notice.
Styrofoam, plastic bags, over fishing the oceans are all things we do or use now, but they will cause major damage for later generations. Understand the relationships in life and follow the rules laid down by nature.
I-2 NEED AND SIGNIFICANCE
Biology is the study of life and it is important to understand how life has developed and evolved over millions of years. It is also important to understand how the body works and functions as this understanding can then be applied to find treatment for different diseases. It is also beneficial for the everyday so that they know the best way to take care of themselves. Taking
5. biology classes will give you a better appreciation of life. Without understanding biology you cannot understand the environment. So the present study is relevant for this situation.
I-3 STATEMENTS OF THE STUDY
The present study is entitles as “ROLE OF BIOLOGY IN EVERYDAY LIFE”
I-4 DEFENITION OF KEY TERMS.
“Biology”:- Biology is the science of life and living organisms, including their structure, functions, growth, origin, evolving and distribution.
I-5 OBJECTIVE OF THE STUDY
To find out the importance of Biology in our day to day life.
6. CHAPTER – II
II-1. METHODOLY
Methodology refers to the use of different kinds of methods to undertake a study. For the present study the investigator used the survey method.
II-2 TOOL USED FOR THE STUDY
For the present study the investigator used the tool is questionnaire.
II-3 SAMPLE SELECTED FOR THE STUDY
Sample is the students of 7th, 8th and 9th standard.
8. From the analysis of the survey it is interpret that Biology influences every person’s life. Most of the students interested for studying biology. Biology helps the students for maintaining a good healthy habits. In lower class they studied the healthy habits. Biology study has a vital role in controlling environmental pollution and attracted sense of art and beauty. 80% of the students says that biology would help to understand about micro organisms and their functions. Some micro organism are harmful our life and some are helpful. 90% of the students agrees that biology helps them to study internal parts of the body and their structure and functions. 80% of the students have +ve respond to the 9th question. The text book of the 9th standard describe the deficiency diseases. National elements and their sources etc. so the students are aware about the food items which contain vitamins, proteins, carbohydrate etc.
9. CHAPTER IV
CONCLUSION
Biology is closely related to our daily life because we do many of the activities because of our biological make up and needs. We understand our bodies better and the mechanism involved in keeping it functioning when we have a knowledge of biology. In biology we learn mainly about how own body work to keep you living. Biology teaches us about all health hazards and how to design a healthy life style.
