• RADAR
Radar sensors are used to detect dangerous
objects in vehicle’s path and trigger alerts if
detect something.
• OPTICS
Camera mounted near the rear-view mirror
not only spots hazards like pedestrians and
animals, but also identifies road markings and
traffic signals.
• LIDAR
Light Detection And Ranging(LIDAR) consists of
emitter, mirror and receiver. It generates a map
of its surroundings and uses the map to avoid
objects.

• GPS
Global Positioning System(GPS) keeps the car
on its intended route with an accuracy of 30
cms.
• PROCESSORS
Processors are needed to make sense of the
data collected by various car instruments.

Google all expect to sell vehicles that can drive themselves at least part
