Sayak Pal, a management postgraduate from the Institute of Engineering and Management in Kolkata, also holds a postgraduate degree in Mass Communication and Journalism. He is currently working as an Assistant Professor with the School of Media, Communication & Fashion under Adamas University in Kolkata. He has earlier been associated as an Assistant Professor with NSHM Knowledge Campus in Kolkata, Ramoji Krian Universe in Hyderabad, Symbiosis Institute of Media and Communication in Bengaluru and Amity University in Kolkata. He has had a brief industry experience spanning roughly four years. He is UGC-NET qualified and is currently pursuing his Ph.D. under the Faculty of Media & Communication
