Martin Jugmans
Nicolas Baygert is one of the « rising
stars » of political analysis in Belgium.
Sharp blog-trotter, author and columnist
for various media, he is particularly
interested in the philosophical implication
of branding.
EUandlobbyingspecialist,lecturer,trainer
and consultant in visual communication,
Matthieu Lietaert is highly creative and
energetic, always prepared to consider
different alternatives of approaching
problems.
Carlos Vaquera is one of the most
charismatic magicians in the world. He will
take us on an interactive journey beyond
the realms of reality and speak about
some techniques of influence and non
verbal cues he uses in his shows and in
his everyday life.
Alexis Bouvy is an independent consultant
working on conflict-related issues in the
Democratic Republic of Congo. He
has co-founded Local Voices, a non-
profit organization aiming to share local
insights in a lively and human way.
Visual storyteller, Simon Sticker draws his
inspiration from ordinary people from
all around the world with stories worth
sharing. One of the driving forces of his
work is to break down stereotypes and try
to make people question their own ideas
and assumptions.
Chris Lunch is a modern day alchemist in
the field of international development,
who believes in the power of technology
to shift awareness, galvanise communities
and unleash hidden energy for positive
individual and collective change.
Melissa Rancourt is a passionate woman
wearing many hats. She is a business and
social entrepreneur and an industrial
engineer with 20 years experience of
leading organizations through change
and improvement.
Martin Jugmans is a storyteller. His
experience arises from a lifestyle of
exploration and adventure. He inspires
people to tell their story and has an
inclusive body, mind and soul approach
to facilitate lively communication.

A World of football
Christella Nimbona’s musical talents are a wonderful
mix between Tracy Chapman, Aretha Franklin or even
the Staple Singers. Christella is from Burundi. Her songs
talk about life, war, faith and convey a strong message
of hope and peace. She is accompanied by David
Vermeulen (guitar), who takes part in writing, arranging
and producing her songs.
Martin Ophoven uses theater, role-playing,
comedy and improvisation to disrupt,
release, capture and use collective
imagination, experiences and dreams to
create a new sense of awareness on an
unlimited range of subjects.
European union affairs practitioner,
university lecturer, musician, dancer and
idealistic day dreamer, Emilie Tack will
explore how music can communicate,
convey and create strong sociocultural
and political messages in everyday life.
Fascinated with popular culture as a
means of empowerment, Mathieu de
Wasseige delved into the field of US
Network Television Series, trying to
understand the role of contemporary
media in popular culture as well as in the
shaping of society.
AWOF is a non-profit organization
founded by a groupe of friends sharing
the same passion for football. Alban
Herinckx and Sean Carter will help us
understand the impact of football on the
development and integration of youth in
society.
Organist, pianist and founder of « Listen to the
Pulse of the Planet », Naomi Takagi will show us,
together with Emilie Tack, how music can trigger
changes and transform conflictual situations.
Gerard Spencer has three passions in life : education,
music and travelling. TEDxIHECS will welcome him as a
musician as he will present us with the « hang », a rare
sought-after musical instrument.
Yumma Mudra takes us on a poetical
and very personal journey sharing her
own experiences as a dancer and
teacher while attempting to reveal our
common natural skills, our human potential
and the interdependency of all items.
