BACKGROUND The school was founded in the ----- and now has an enrollment of approximately 450 students. You have asked us to assist you to review and refine your financial projections, create an explanatory narrative report, assist in identifying target banks and negotiating a new letter of credit. The following are the primary work elements that need to be performed to accomplish the engagement objectives: Update due diligence on the School and its market. Advise and assist School management in the refinement of short- and long-term strategies and financial structure options. Assist School management to prepare a descriptive document, including financial projections for the next three-five years, which will be used in approaching various banks. Identify target banks. Meet with officials of target banks to negotiate the terms of a letter of credit Assist in finalizing arrangements for the renegotiated letter of credit.
