for Video Surveillance & Loss Prevention!
Los Angeles, California | March 24, 2014
DTT& ZAX Inc.announced a partnership naming DTT
as the preferred provider of video-based surveillance and loss
prevention solutions for all corporate stores. The DTT system
was evaluated at several locations over a 6-month period and
will be rolled out into 100 corporate stores beginning this
month. As new ZAX Inc. corporate locations open, the DTT
system will be implemented.

DTT & National Coney Island
announced today a partnership naming DTT
as the exclusive provider of video-based
surveillance and loss prevention solutions
for the Detroit, MI based enterprise.The
DTT solution has been implemented in 18
NCI stores to date and will be installed in all
remaining locations this year.

Have you ever dealt with a store robbery? What about a slip-and-fall?
With DTT’s Remote Incident Support & Archiving (RISA) service, it’s easy
to locate relevant video footage and save it as evidence. Simply contact
DTT, request camera recordings from a specific date and time, and our
technicians will burn the video onto a watermarked CD – admissible in
the court of law – and overnight it to the applicable parties.

Customer and
Employee Altercation
An angry customer approached the back door
at a Wendy’s location, demanding to speak
to the manager. As the manager approached
and began a conversation, the customer
immediately leapt through the door in an
attempt to tackle the manager. After the
customer was subdued and escorted from the
premises, employees called the police to file a
report and requested footage from DTT.
Attempted Hit-and-Run
One evening at a KFC store, a driver swerved
the rear end of his car into another vehicle as he
was attempting to back out of a parking space.
The driver immediately attempted to exit the
parking lot, but a witness stepped in front of his
car, forcing him to stop. DTT received a call from
the general manager requesting footage to aid
in the police inquiry, which technicians locked,
downloaded, and burned to a watermarked disc.
Gunpoint Robbery
A customer pulled up to a Jack in the Box
drive thru one evening, withdrew a gun, and
demanded cash from an on duty employee.
The employee managed to open the register
and give cash to the robber before any shots
were fired, after which she ran to phone the
police. DTT technicians executed a RISA and
notified the VIP Support Manager of Jack in
the Box, saving the footage as evidence to
be used in the investigation.
Tip Jar Theft
One afternoon at a SUBWAY® location, a customer
entered the store to find the register unattended.
He approached the counter, glanced around,
and stuffed the tip jar inside his jacket. He then
quickly exited the store. Upon noticing the tip
jar’s absence, employees notified the manager,
who called the police as well as DTT tech support.
DTT technicians swiftly completed a RISA and the
recording was burned onto a watermarked disk
to be submitted to the appropriate parties.

to help you better understand what
took place at a particular time.
Within the Recorded Video Search
section, once the desired video is
playing, right click the video player,
select Render, Mega Pixel View
then PIP or PAP.
TOGGLING CAMERA
NAME, DATE, and
TIME DISPLAY
You can toggle the display
of a camera’s name, date,
and time on and off! To do so,
follow the steps below.
1. Under LiveView, click on
Recorded Video Search.
2. Select the location,
camera, and date/time.
3. Start the video
then press pause.
4. Right click on the video
image and select“Render.”
5. Select“Text overlay’s
camera name and time”
You should now see the
camera’s name, date,
and time in the lower
right hand corner.
