Creating The Plan.
Marketing is a planning involved function of business when any
organization is getting started. It requires getting to know the
organizational environment, analyzing the competition and
identifying the target consumer.
Digital Marketing Environment.
In the modern era of marketing digital platforms have become crucial.
Outlets such as Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin and YouTube are revolutionary
ways to market a business.
Market Analysis
Multiple aspects go into analyzing the prospective market. Here are some of
the questions that need to be answered.
- Define the market, who is going to be the customer or consumer?
- Categorize and Examine the Competition, Who are they and how do they
operate?
- Identify obstacles to entering the market, what would prevent you from
growing the business?
- Supply chain, how will your get resources and products to the consumer?
- Promotions, how will you advertise the product?
Facebook Marketing.
PROS
• Targets a wide age of
customers. (Typically Age 13 to
55)
• Nearly Every Company
advertises on Facebook.
• Allows broad exposure
globally.
• Increases awareness and
accessibility.
CONS
• Less personalized reach of
marketing.
• Facebook is a Paid method of
marketing
YouTube Marketing.
Benefits
• Free to use.
• Gets faces of the company out
and in view of consumer.
• Wide Range of Access.
• User Friendly Experience.
• Your videos can be any length.
Disadvantages
• Once your Video is published it
can be altered.
• So many videos it can be come
confusing
• People can use the same tags
as you do.
• Negative Reviews can drive
down views.
Twitter Marketing.
Advantages
• Your Ad's can be altered to
give off Multiple looks
• Vast outreach with the ability
to target customers.
• You can schedule Tweets to be
posted in the future.
Disadvantages
• Marketing can become
expensive on Twitter
• Hard to quantify Returns on
investment.
• Could be marked as Spam.
LinkedIn Marketing.
LinkedIn marketing is a professional marketplace for
networking. On LinkedIn you can market a career
opportunity or individuals can market themselves.
Employers do have to pay for postings and as such as seen
as a disadvantage. However, the website is user friendly
and globally recognized.
