2. During the flight, many passengers may encounter problems,
such as emergency landing, health problems, and air rages,
etc.
There are some procedures that the flight attendants have to
know and memorize in the airline. It is necessary that they
practice the actions in order to solve those problems when it
comes to emergency evacuation.
For example, we already did a ditching exercise during our
field trip last semester. Also, we practiced the shouted
commands in the simulator. And, we watched the videos
about the air rage.
3. Before starting our roleplaying, I am going to review the
French vocabularies and phrases related to the flight.
In the previous class 409, we learned the
announcements on board, safety on board, and more
safety instructions.
4. Bienvenue à Bord
Welcome on board.
The forward cabin is for the passengers of the business
class.
The rear cabin is for the passengers of the economy
class.
The passengers are not allowed to enter in the cockpit
during the flight.
5. Les Annonces à Bord
Please look at the monitor and listen.
Our flight time will be approximately 7 hours and 30
minutes.
We are going to fly up to an altitude of 10,000 meters
with a speed of 800 kilometers per hour.
6. Les Consignes De Vols
It is restricted to put carry-on luggage in the aisle.
For your safety, the carry-on luggage has to be placed
under the seat of the person in front, or in the overhead
rack which is located above your seat.
When taking off, please put back the back rest and the
tray table of your seat.
While taking off, the seat back has to be put in an upright
position.
10. Allen: You are such an amazing professor in this class! I have
never experienced learning French, but I feel that my French is
getting improved thanks to you! Thank you, sir!!
EunJu: I like the way you teach, the way you wear your uniform,
and the way you encourage us to speak French. I have met you
since the first semester, so I get used to learning French a lot. Thank
you for your suggestion on this topic.
Diana: I want to tell you that my French could be much more
improved since the level 3 of French with you. I learned how to
present, how to read, and how to write properly as you taught us to
write many journals in level 3. Although I go back to Korea soon, I
have always been appreciated of your help in class.
