Never a failure, always a lesson is an approach that shows you that it never is the end of
the road. Everyone fails in life. At one point or another in your existence, you are going
to fail. It is inevitable! And although it hurts each time you do, it helps build you up into
the person you are today.
Are you more worry about the fear of failure rather than the failure itself? How many times
in your life have you failed at something only to discover another opportunity? What can
you do to change your outlook?
The problem is that most people associate failure with complete defeat. I know, because I
cannot even count the times I failed in the past. There are points in my life where I failed at
everything. I got to be a failure in relationships, business and even life in general. At the
time, I felt a sense of total and absolute defeat, yet it was a lesson in disguise.

2. You have to realize that all successful people who live or have ever lived did fail the most
times. So, through your failures, you understand that you learn some valuable lessons. Of
course, no one likes to suffer through a myriad of failures which, sometimes happen, one
after another.
“Remembering that you are going to die is the best way I know to avoid the trap of thinking
you have something to lose. You are already naked. There is no reason not to follow your
heart.” – Steve Jobs
Failure Becomes a Learning Lesson
So follow, explore, do what is in your heart and do not let anything, especially failure, stop
you. At any point in your life, you should never have to regret your failures. You might
regret some choices, but again, there were also lessons. Some people never learn and
make the same mistakes over and over again.
While failure hurts at the time, it is all part of your life’s design. Over the years, you used a
celestial chisel which shaped and created the living sculpture you are today. When you fail,
you grow and mature. You achieve new understandings and perspectives on life, love,
business, money, relationships, and people.
Therefore, failure becomes wise lessons. You are then forced to bridge gaps you had not
thought about before and suddenly; you have to connect the dots. A typical example about
this is that a relationship you failed in but which led you to someone else better and more
fabulous.
Failure Does Hurt
Regardless of what happened in your life, the sweetness afterward was a much better
result. Failure is also an integrant part of life. Since the dawn of time, our ancestors went
through failures, and that is how we evolved. In a way, it is all a part of a natural selection
and the grand design of things on this planet.
However, you might be going through failure at this moment, and you do not understand
why. And yes, failure hurts. In truth, I agree, the pain can run so deep, that at times, you
question your very life. But let me remind you that you are not alone. It is not the end of the
road, and that is a promise!
And during my encounters with failure, I learned some significant lessons. I know how hard
it is. It is not easy to move through and past failure. I feel for you if you are going through it
at this moment, but I ask you to be strong because it will end!
Learning Lessons is Often Hard
So you have to remember that the lessons you learn through failure are the most valuable
lessons you could get in life. We all feel that when we fail, it feels like the end of the line. It
might even break you physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

3. But there is light at the end of the tunnel. Although I went through some rough times in my
life, failure always taught me that there is no beauty without struggle. And I learned who my
real friends were after each successive failure. Somehow, failing acts as a filter, so to
speak, for false friends.
Sadly enough, when you are on the top ladder of success, everyone wants to be around
you. But, when you fail, most of those so-called friends run and disappear into thin air. You
feel betrayed. Yet, real friends care about you, not because of how successful you are, but
because of who you are. Therefore, true friends will be there for you no matter what.
Failure Leads to Success
You and I are living in an instant gratification society. Most people want things, and they
want them right now. Often, they act like children because their mind behaves on the
pleasure principle.
But, when failure comes your way, you start to realize that, good things, do not happen or
come overnight.
And so, you have to work to achieve your dreams and realize your goals. The only problem
with that is that when goals are new, they are exciting. But after some time, the grind and
the routine become far more real. It gets hard, and you get bored, tired, fed up, and you
return to your old ways. And then you feel like a failure again.
However, when you can overcome that natural tendency, it is when the magic begins to
happen. Not right away, but in time along the trust in the process. It is but a natural
progression. The more times you experience failure, the more you become passionate
about your mission or calling. It then becomes far more real and concrete.
Never a Failure Always a Lesson
So, failure is only considered as a failure when you quit. My advice to you is never to give
up. And it is so true that when you believe deeply enough in yourself, you can succeed.
Thus, learn never to give up, no matter what the situation or what others think.
In fact, no matter how many times people despise you, laugh at you, walk all over you, or
just ignore you, keep pushing forward. And it does not matter if you progress just a little or
make a small step each day. In the end what matters is that you make some progress at all.
Just do not ever stop!
As a result, you grow to be so passionate about what you are doing that you can just taste
success coming your way. So if failure touches you in any way, remind yourself that it is not
the end but a new beginning. The lesson here is the chance to pick yourself back up again
and try again until you reach your desires.
