This is different than a regular minor league since teams allowed to play are female teams only.  BMHA is a non-profit/volunteer association, team members are usually parents or ex-players.  BMHA connects to SPSC 2210 by having the elements of coaching, recreational and physical education.  For example, a lot of ex-players become assistant or head coaches for the female association to promote women’s hockey. The association “[relies] on members” (Ed Lunn, 2020).  It’s recreational for the players since in the league there are different division a player can play at if they are comfortable. If a player wants to play fun or competitively there is an option.  BMHA has also an element of Physical Education, Since the players have to be taught the skills to play.
