• As the features editor on a daily publication I am responsible for creating online content across
all sections of the website from breaking celebrity news to health, beauty, travel and fashion.
I’m also responsible for sub-editing content, commissioning features, constructing and sending
the daily newsletter and picture researching.
• I’m responsible for conducting exclusive celebrity interviews, which have included Megan Fox,
Brian Austin Green, Moby, Usher, Paris Hilton, Gary Rhodes and Sheeraz.
• The fashion section is also under my remit in which I style fashion shoots and write copy.
• I contribute to Ahlan! magazine, Ahlan! supplements with fashion, food, travel and celebrity

my extensive relationships with fashion, beauty and celebrity PR’s have resulted in a little black
book full of local and international designers, actors, journalists, stylists and photographers.
• As the editor I managed a small team and together, I was able to utilise their talents to drive
online traffic, to benefit ad sales (readership reached its highest peak at nine million in 2010
under my editorship). I also increased local readership and developed Ahlan!’s social network.
• Exclusive celebrity interviews included Robert De Niro, Freida Pinto, Kevin Spacey, Nelly
Furtado, Jimmy Choo, Reem Acra, Julianne Moore, Anne Valerie Hash and Beverley Knight.
• As the editor I was responsible for creating all online content from breaking news to
interviewing celebrities, sourcing photos, fashion features and designing special online reports.
• Aside from editing a daily web magazine I also contributed to Grazia as the Bahrain Grand Prix

2009-2010 Fashion Stylist The National Newspaper, M Magazine
• As a stylist, fashion journalist and assistant to the fashion director, I was responsible for
organising fashion shoots from casting models, photographers, calling in products for shoots
from local and international design houses, booking hair and makeup artists and locations.
• Working on an international fashion publication involved developing relationships with national
fashion and beauty experts as well as international designers. This meant sourcing clothes for
shoots from designers such as Louis Vuitton, Dolce & Gabbana, Lanvin, Chanel, TopShop,
John Galliano and Alexander McQueen. These clothes were then sent to locations in the UAE,
New York and Iceland for work on shoots, which I coordinated and/or styled.
• Weekly column writer of M-Ometre (fashion news) and stylist of Trend Alert (still-life styling).
• I developed fashion features, commissioned stories and shoots from journalists abroad.
• I worked with freelancers including photographers - Louis Christopher, Susanne Spiel; stylists -
