 Nyinkka Nyunyu is a unique art and culture centre which
offers visitors an opportunity to learn about aboriginal life,
history and land in the Tennant Creek region.
 The Centre provides a set of benchmarks in a multi faceted
precinct in which visitors have the opportunity to:

Shop at the Retail Shop featuring local art and craft works,
gifts, books, etc;
Obtain information from the local Indigenous experts at the
Information Centre;
Sit and enjoy a fresh juice or coffee at the Jajjikari Café;
Visit the Museum and Gallery.
Watch traditional and contemporary performances in either
of the two performance areas; AS Scheduled.
Explore the landscaped garden of indigenous plants and
bush tucker.
Location
 Nyinkka Nyunyu Art and Culture Centre is located
on Paterson Street (Stuart Highway) the main road
which runs through Tennant Creek. Tennant Creek
is 500 kms north of Alice Springs.

Objective:
 As an Arts and cultural center, the centre takes the
lead in the study and research on the latest information
including history and people of Nyinka Nyunyu.
 As an educational institution, the Nyinka Nyunyu
Arts and Cultural centre will disseminate scientific
and technical knowledge in more understandable form
 The centre has several objectives covering diverse of
fields of knowledge through various educational,
scientific and cultural activities. As an educational
institution, the Nyinka Nyunyu Arts and Cultural
centre disseminates scientific and technical knowledge
in more understandable and practical forms through
lectures, exhibitions, interviews and publications for
students and the general public.
 As a scientific institution, the centre conducts basic
research programs combining integrated field work
in anthropology and archaeology, botany, geology,
and zoology. It maintains reference collections on
these disciplines and promotes scientific
development in the region.
 As an Arts and cultural center, the centre takes the
lead in the study and preservation of the nation's
rich artistic, historical and cultural heritage in the
reconstruction and rebuilding of the nation's past
and veneration of the history of the land.
Arts and Cultural Centre are:-
 To preserve the Aboriginal sacred site in Warumungu country;
 To provide up to date information on the situation in Nyinka
Nyunyu and inform the general public on the latest information
including history and people of Nyinka Nyunyu.
 The strategy will act as a guide showcasing the people of the
region, activities, art and culture.
 The objective of the strategy is to reach out to the general public,
to seek for their support, build strong relations with the
community, reaching the wider community and promoting the
image of the centre.
 Contributing to the cultural development of the country by setting
up the infrastructures and the creation of attractions;
 Aiming at conservation and dissemination of the Nyinka Nyunyu
cultural heritage and promotion of creative industry;
 Allowing all age groups to learn while entertaining themselves;
 To ensure the conservation of the living memory of the past by
reconstituting history and life style of the Nyinka Nyunyu people
through ages;
 To promote public education by creating Educational techniques
essentially interactive and complementary to those of the classic
school institutions that allow the Nyinka Nyunyu public and foreign
to widen their horizons in all domains of the knowledge especially in
the evolution of the Nyinka Nyunyu;
 Contributing to the awareness of the multiple challenges to which
the Nyinka Nyunyu people must cope considering requirements of
the modern world;
 Contributing to the promotion of the cultural creation in putting at
the disposal of researchers, artists and craftsmen infrastructures
and suitable facilities to encourage the blossoming of the Nyinka
Nyunyu creative industry;
Target Audience:
 The strategy will target a diverse audience include,
online visitors, locals and international tourists.
The strategy will also target international and
regional donors, investors, educational
institutions, social scientists.
Social Media Tools:
 Aim: Promoting the centre’s image, promotions
and informing what is happening to the general
public.
 The strategy will be dedicated to using three
essential social networking tools; facebook, blog
and video and photo sharing tools. The strategy
will work based upon the five key objectives of
social media:
 Facebook tool has become one of widely used social
media tools and the centre will take advantage of its
use to reach out to the community, to link visitors who
visit the website, get more insight about Nyinka
Nyunyu. Visitors can view the calendar of events
scheduled to take place at the Nyinka Nyunyu and also
hear their views about the centre. Facebook is an
excellent social networking tool for all ages and will
help promote the organization’s image through
pictures and videos.
 Another tool we will use is blogging, to get the
attention of those that have not managed to which will
be linked to the official website shall be created to
allow visitors to view detailed messages about the
centre as well as present their comments and views
about the centre
 To share latest information, including photos and
videos, with the community about the Arts and
Cultural centre;
 YouTube, the centre will take advantage of the use of
You Tube, to support and showcase numerous videos
and photos taken from the centre and share them with
the visitors who wish to visit the area. can take a glance
at the landscape, the exhibitions taking place, the
people of the region, the shops and other interesting
sites.
 Customers can view photos and videos of the location
instantly via You Tube, as well as subscribe to receive
the latest information and videos of what’s going on.

  • 2.  Nyinkka Nyunyu is a unique art and culture centre which offers visitors an opportunity to learn about aboriginal life, history and land in the Tennant Creek region.  The Centre provides a set of benchmarks in a multi faceted precinct in which visitors have the opportunity to:  Shop at the Retail Shop featuring local art and craft works, gifts, books, etc; Obtain information from the local Indigenous experts at the Information Centre; Sit and enjoy a fresh juice or coffee at the Jajjikari Café; Visit the Museum and Gallery. Watch traditional and contemporary performances in either of the two performance areas; AS Scheduled. Explore the landscaped garden of indigenous plants and bush tucker.
  • 3. Location  Nyinkka Nyunyu Art and Culture Centre is located on Paterson Street (Stuart Highway) the main road which runs through Tennant Creek. Tennant Creek is 500 kms north of Alice Springs.

Objective:  As an Arts and cultural center, the centre takes the lead in the study and research on the latest information including history and people of Nyinka Nyunyu.  As an educational institution, the Nyinka Nyunyu Arts and Cultural centre will disseminate scientific and technical knowledge in more understandable form  The centre has several objectives covering diverse of fields of knowledge through various educational, scientific and cultural activities. As an educational institution, the Nyinka Nyunyu Arts and Cultural centre disseminates scientific and technical knowledge in more understandable and practical forms through lectures, exhibitions, interviews and publications for students and the general public.
  • 6.  As a scientific institution, the centre conducts basic research programs combining integrated field work in anthropology and archaeology, botany, geology, and zoology. It maintains reference collections on these disciplines and promotes scientific development in the region.  As an Arts and cultural center, the centre takes the lead in the study and preservation of the nation's rich artistic, historical and cultural heritage in the reconstruction and rebuilding of the nation's past and veneration of the history of the land.

Arts and Cultural Centre are:-  To preserve the Aboriginal sacred site in Warumungu country;  To provide up to date information on the situation in Nyinka Nyunyu and inform the general public on the latest information including history and people of Nyinka Nyunyu.  The strategy will act as a guide showcasing the people of the region, activities, art and culture.  The objective of the strategy is to reach out to the general public, to seek for their support, build strong relations with the community, reaching the wider community and promoting the image of the centre.  Contributing to the cultural development of the country by setting up the infrastructures and the creation of attractions;  Aiming at conservation and dissemination of the Nyinka Nyunyu cultural heritage and promotion of creative industry;
  • 8.  Allowing all age groups to learn while entertaining themselves;  To ensure the conservation of the living memory of the past by reconstituting history and life style of the Nyinka Nyunyu people through ages;  To promote public education by creating Educational techniques essentially interactive and complementary to those of the classic school institutions that allow the Nyinka Nyunyu public and foreign to widen their horizons in all domains of the knowledge especially in the evolution of the Nyinka Nyunyu;  Contributing to the awareness of the multiple challenges to which the Nyinka Nyunyu people must cope considering requirements of the modern world;  Contributing to the promotion of the cultural creation in putting at the disposal of researchers, artists and craftsmen infrastructures and suitable facilities to encourage the blossoming of the Nyinka Nyunyu creative industry;
  • 9. Target Audience:  The strategy will target a diverse audience include, online visitors, locals and international tourists. The strategy will also target international and regional donors, investors, educational institutions, social scientists.

Social Media Tools:  Aim: Promoting the centre’s image, promotions and informing what is happening to the general public.  The strategy will be dedicated to using three essential social networking tools; facebook, blog and video and photo sharing tools. The strategy will work based upon the five key objectives of social media:
  • 11.  Facebook tool has become one of widely used social media tools and the centre will take advantage of its use to reach out to the community, to link visitors who visit the website, get more insight about Nyinka Nyunyu. Visitors can view the calendar of events scheduled to take place at the Nyinka Nyunyu and also hear their views about the centre. Facebook is an excellent social networking tool for all ages and will help promote the organization’s image through pictures and videos.  Another tool we will use is blogging, to get the attention of those that have not managed to which will be linked to the official website shall be created to allow visitors to view detailed messages about the centre as well as present their comments and views about the centre
  • 12.  To share latest information, including photos and videos, with the community about the Arts and Cultural centre;  YouTube, the centre will take advantage of the use of You Tube, to support and showcase numerous videos and photos taken from the centre and share them with the visitors who wish to visit the area. can take a glance at the landscape, the exhibitions taking place, the people of the region, the shops and other interesting sites.  Customers can view photos and videos of the location instantly via You Tube, as well as subscribe to receive the latest information and videos of what’s going on.
