Wells,ERD wells and Directional Drilling with both rotary steerable and conventional mud motors. Have been Able to

Drilling superintendent(Residential) SMP- Drilling Gabon,WestAfrica
After financial constraints forced the shutdown ofour Kenya operations Iwas transferred to Gabon as a residential
drilling superintendent.I was tasked with taking a 5000m Cyber rig that had been previously working for Addax and
completing a 5 year 1000 operating day maintenance over the course of three months.Also in that time frame I was
part of negotiation team that included the SMP general manager and SMP Gabon Country manager thatmanaged to
secure a 2 year contract with Shell Gabon.

Performance Toolpusher- Ensign International EnergyServices Pty Ltd, Oman,Middle East
Responsible for the overseeing and training oftwo new startup rigs for PDO. My time was splitbetween the two rigs
during the commissioning phase.Once commissioned Iwas responsible for the training of the Omani crews and
managers.

 Executing the supervisor and co-ordination ofall on site drilling activities for the various Omani
crews
 Providing instruction and guidance to the drilling crews for operations ofthe drilling unit

 Executed the supervision and co-ordination ofall activities of the workers engaged in drilling ofoil
wells.
 Provided instruction and guidance to the drilling crews in the erection,dismantling,and the moving
of the drilling rig.

 Key influencer in the drilling of 2500m lateral wells for Shell in the Toucan and Gamba
fields of southern Gabon;utilised casing drilling for surface holes,conventional mud motor
assemblies for main hole and running rotary steerable assemblies in the build and lateral
sections ofthe wells.

Akita Drilling Ltd is a premier oil & gas drilling contractor,with drilling operations throughoutWestern and Northern
Canada.
Key Responsibilities
 Collaborated with and supported the Rig Manager to secure rig for rig move.
 Ensured clear and effective communication with the company representative as required.
 Maintained drilling logs,records,derrick or mastand associated equipment.
 Oversaw the operation and service of all drilling rig components.
 Managed the maintenance ofdrilling fluids and coordinated activities with the Mud Engineer.
 Designated crew to various duties during non-drilling operations.

months in its unconventional oil department.

American and international market.Assigned to New Zealand and Libya.
Key Responsibilities
 Ensured optimum control ofall drilling operations successfullywhile on shift.

completions services.Worked as a Nightdirectional,doing S bend and lateral wells in central Alberta.
Key Responsibilities
 Executed the strapping ofdirectional tools;builton site well proposals for the company
representative.
 Extrapolated the projected well path for geologydepartment,worked with and advising the
drillers on how to steer the BHA, and oversaw the making up,breaking down and storage of all
directional tools.
 Ensured special deviation surveys were undertaken for successful directional drilling.

Basin (WestTexas, USA), North Dakota and the Ebano-Panuco-Cacalilao field near Tampico, Mexico
Key Responsibilities
 Supervised the compliance with safety regulations and procedures,and safeguarded bestpractices,
which included safetymeetings and the JSA completion.
 Maintained derrick or mastand relevant equipment.
 Ensured optimum control ofall drilling operations successfullywhile on shift.

Drillers TechnologyDe Mexico is an overseas supplier in Canada thatexports products to Drill Tech Bvi Ltd. The Poza
Rica field is a high pressure,low volume field.Therefore, well control presents a constantchallenge,with the
necessityfor various well control techniques to be employed on a frequentbasis.
Key Responsibilities
 Worked successfullyin Poza Rica, Mexico on a 3800 m telescopic double.This rig is a mechanical
rig equipped with a TSM 850 drawworks,2 Emsco F-1000 mud pumps,and a Tesco HMI-350 top
drive, Detroit2000 series motors.
 Augmented the running of casing,testing ofwellhead equipment,and BOP stack with Rig
Manager.
Key Accomplishment
 Acquired a rudimentarybasic knowledge ofthe Spanish language due to the encountered language
barrier,enough to competentlyoversee and directthe rig crew.
 Operated successfullyand broughtthe wells under control safely during well control situations.

Key Responsibilities
 Directed BOP drills while implementing drilling secure control procedures.
 Worked in the Pieance field in western Colorado as a driller on Akita 63 for Exxon Mobil. Akita 63 is
a 6000 m DC electric rig. This rig is equipped with a Tesco 900 TDS, National 1250 drawworks,3x
3512 CAT engines,Ross Hill SCR and 3 x Lewco 1200 mud pumps.Familiar with the maintenance
and repairs on these components.
Key Accomplishment
 Drilled in the US for a major contractor and was exposed to and became familiar with whatit took to
drill successful and stable well bores through Exxon’s fastdrill training process and MSE training.

Driller - Akita Drilling Equitak Division
Key Responsibilities
 Assigned for 2 seasons on Akita 64 located in the Mackenzie delta NWT. Akita 64 is a 2500m
Jackknife double.The rig was equipped with a RigMaster 850 drawworks,Tesco 250 EMI top drive
with an integrated swivel,2 8P-80 National mud pumps
 Operated in the Arctic Circle; was exposed to differentcultures and language barriers as the
Inuvialuit comprise 50% ofour drilling crews.
 Secured exposure to casing drilling and completions.
