1. How did you use new media technologies in the
construction, research, planning and evaluation stages?

2. Technologies I used throughout
the project
 During the stages of researching, planning and constructing my
music video, I used a variety of different media and technologies
during each of the different stages. I used the Canon HV30 camera
as opposed to the MD205 camera I used last year. This meant that
I was able to progress in technologies and learn about the new
camera and its qualities. The camera I used to produce this project
is in HD which automatically means the footage will be of high
quality.

3. Technologies
 Along with the higher quality camera, I also used one of the
school’s iMac computers which enabled me to edit my video on
Final Cut Express and also use LiveType. I used LiveType to
create the title at the beginning and end of my music video,
which added to the professionalism of my video, and also the
lyrics ‘Take It Off’ towards the end of the video. I also used
Microsoft PowerPoint, Prezi, PicMonkey, bubbl.us and blogger
to present information easily and quickly. By using these
presenting technologies, I was also able to upload them onto my
blog via the internet. I also had access to my mobile phone,
digital camera, USB, Youtube and Google to transfer create
images to then go onto my blog or my video.
 I also created my magazine adverts using other methods of
technology; I took the photographs and uploaded them in to
PowerPoint, arranged the correct logos how I wanted them,
then copied this into Paint to create the title, before uploading
them to Picmonkey and editing them further.

By using these technologies I have been inspired,
aided in the process of creating, planning and
presenting my work, quickened the process of
creating my project and also presented work in a
variety of different ways.

5.  To find ways to present my work, I decided to
Google different ways of presenting including
presentations, brainstorming websites and also
‘walls’ in which to add information onto. Straight
away, by using a search engine and trying out
different sites, I already used and experimented with
new technologies I had not previously been familiar
with. I chose to use ‘bubbl.us’ and ‘Padlet’ to present
small amounts of information on as it was easy to
use and fast, which quickened the process of
displaying my information. It was also easier to
upload onto my blog as I used sites which enabled
me to ‘share’ my work with social media sites and
embed them into other sites, such as blogger.

6. Conclusion
 In conclusion, I found the new technologies I used
exciting and helpful as I had the chance to
experiment with new sites, a new camera which was
of higher quality than I was previously used to. I also
found this project a new way to challenge and
broaden my knowledge about media and
technologies that were available to use both in the
classroom and on the internet.
 I feel I used the technologies to the greatest of my
ability and was as creative as possible when using
them in each of the stages. I feel that I have
broadened my knowledge by doing so and it is
apparent in both my music video and on my blog.

7. Conclusion
 In conclusion, I found the new technologies I used

experiment with new sites, a new camera which was
of higher quality than I was previously used to. I also
found this project a new way to challenge and
