kiehl’s macy’s herald square, manhattan
A shop-in-shop store located in one of the world’s largest
department stores, it was designed to feature a curated
selection of products targetting tourists and visiting patrons
looking to quickly purchase yet willing to try out products,
for which the extend consultation table was designed for.
It is located on the 3rd floor of the Macy’s Herald Square
Flagship store.

kiehl’s hell’s kitchen, manhattan
Formerly a long time bicycle repair shop, this Kiehl’s
flagship store was designed to feature customised service
areas such as the Healthy Skin Island and Men’s Shave Bar
while keeping with the New York nativity. Accent pieces
such as the HighWire pendant by local studio Apparatus
were incorporated.

A competition held by the Afrika Museum (Berg en Dal)
and African Architecture Matters (Utrecht) to demonstrate
planning ideas for future Africa.
Using Kumasi, Ghana as the location, the idea was to design
a systematic structure to enhance the rising existence of
make-shift structures used for multiple purposes.
Research: These structures can be temporary or permanent
structures. They can be used mainly as a point of sale, but
also as a home; a place to sleep, live, store and serve as an
identity.

aventura cart
Aventura Food Cart Competition: Produced drawings,
perspectives and board layouts. Inspired by the natural
elements of Arizona and the colorful simplicity of food. The
Claro cart has been constructed and is in use at the Phoenix
Convention Centre and nationwide.

elitro [concept]
Studio Objective: Tenant Improvement: Redesign retail space
of two floor levels with an inclusion of activity spaces.
Program: A retro-contemporary retail space dedicated to
making available, daily household goods as well as household
large appliances within the eras.
Designed fixtures: simple, flexible cubes and
rectangles
1st floor: Display space, point of sale, main storage and retail
of larger appliances.
Second floor: a grand retail space complimented by a
bar and restaurant scene, as well as a live DJ. Restrooms
located here.
