2. WHAT IS ANGER?
• Anger is a basic human emotion
experienced by all the people.
• It will be typically triggered by an
emotional hurt.
• It is usually experienced as an
unpleasant feeling that occurs when we
think we have been injured, mistreated,
opposed in our long-held views.
• Or when we are faced with obstacles
that keep us from attaining personal
goals.
• It is completely normal, usually healthy,
human relation.

3. • Anger is a waste of time & energy
• “Good” men don’t get angry
• Anger is pointless
• If my anger comes out it will hurt
others, relationships & my success
• Hiding my anger protects others
• Anger destroys boundaries
• Anger is worth spending time to
undertand
• All men experience anger [you don’t
have to be consumed by it]
• Anger is valuable information
• Embodied, clean anger is a healthy
normal experience
• Understanding my anger leads to
integration
• Anger builds boundaries and tells us
when they have been crossed

as we want or people not behaving the
way we think they should.
• Misunderstanding between people.
• Result of poor communication.
• Are unable to achieve goals or desires.
• Feels inadequate or not respected,
being treated unfairly.

7. STEPS TO ANGER MANAGEMENT
• Think before you speak
• Once your calm, express your concerns
• Get some exercises
• Take a timeout
• Identify possible solutions
• Don’t hold a Grudge
• Use humour to release tention
• Practice relaxation skills
• Know when you seek help
