or those living in majority don’t
believe that a democratic decision
will make any difference because
they have the absolute power that is
-money power . They are dominant
over the minor sections and hence
the poorest people suffer from
inequality , discrimination.

socially backward people this idea
changes because they want someone who
would change their living conditions . The

urban population seems to be disconnected from
the whole procedure. A little effort is only made by
the people living in towns and villages. Then also,
the people living in remote areas and the
inhabitants of almost all the tribal regions are
unknown from this system.
 The main cause for all this is the lack of knowledge.
The literacy rates have always been poor since the
independence.
 The situation has been better in the recent years.
