PUBLIC PARTICIPATION IN PREPARATION OF DEVELOPMENT PLANS

ABSTRACT
Development plans are meant for people.
But do people have any say in their process
of preparation? What are the merits and
pitfalls     of      public       participation      in
preparation of development plans? The
paper tries to throw light on these questions

But do people have any say in their process of preparation? What are the merits and pitfalls of public participation in preparation of development plans?
