For fun, Silicon Energy drove our 6,800 lb, two-ton dually flatbed truck onto one of our Cascade Se-
ries solar photovoltaic modules.
NO DAMAGE!
However we don’t recommend driving on our modules or parking on your house.
The photos below show what happened at the firing range when our modules were shot with .45
and .22 caliber pistols and a .223 caliber rifle - from a distance of 30 feet.
We don’t, however, recommend shooting at our modules.
These are just a couple of indications of the durability which is key to the performance longevity of
our equipment. Although not indestructible, the Cascade is an amazingly durable solar PV product.
