Germany’s largest student-led conference on Social
Entrepreneurship - yearly since 2010
SensAbility is Germany’s largest student-led conference
on Social Entrepreneurship, entirely organized by
students of WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management.
Since its beginning in 2010, the event has established
itself as a unique platform for more than 200 international
students, Social Entrepreneurs, corporates and philan-
thropic investors to meet, exchange ideas and work on
solutions. The synergies created during this 2-day
conference inspire attendees from all over the world to
develop and realize innovative social business ideas.
Our aim is to fascinate, inspire and motivate people to
actively solve today’s social and environmental problems
by being a Social Entrepreneur.

institutions in the field of social entrepreneurship
10
Developing a sustainable future:
Vision SensAbility 2020
Where do we want to be in 2020? Doubtless, a further cross-border institutionalization
of the conference is the aspiration. It is our aim to establish WHU SensAbility as the
most important conference targeting Social Entrepreneurship in Germany.
The yearly upcoming conference shall be the origin for many social startups
and thereby increase our community‘s awareness of Social Business as
an alternative to existing solutions and parties in our market economy.
On an organizational level, our goal for 2020 is to host a conference for
350 - 400 participants from all over the world who are interested to found
their own business based on the principles of social business. These
young minds shall gain the tools to later re-shape the world with their
social businesses.
WHU SensAbility aims to take a guiding role in driving this change.
11
In order to grow the conference further and shift it to
the next level, we seek the support of a strong partner
