This proposal outlines a new game called Candy Invaders that merges the popular games Candy Crush and Space Invaders. The game aims to entertain players aged 16+ of all genders and social statuses by having them shoot candy aliens as a spaceship to score points, drawing elements from both source games. Research was conducted on three different games to inform colors, characters, backgrounds and objects used in Candy Invaders. The proposal argues the game will not offend as it contains no offensive material and draws from public games, while putting a unique spin to avoid copyright issues.

What is it called? This can change if you think of something better later
Product’s Purpose: Entertainment, I will achieve this by merging two popular games into
one.

What sort of product is it
Content: There is no story for my game, but the two games that I am merging together are
Candy Crush and Space Invaders. So, from Candy Crush, I have taken the candy which will
act as the aliens and from Space Invaders, I’ve taken the spaceship which will shoot the
candy and score points.

Audience: It will appeal to 16+ because the two games are popular, for both genders and it
doesn’t not make a difference about the social status as anyone can play it if they have a
phone.
Who is your audience? Be very detailed; age, gender, social status, psychographic etc
Why would your project appeal to this person?
Research and Planning: I researched three games which were very different to each other. I
added pictures from each game and did a mind map on the colours, characters in the game
if they had any, the background and the objects within the game. Out of the three games
that I chose, I am choosing Candy Crush and Space Invaders.

Legal & Ethical Considerations: There is no offensive material that I am using. It will not
restrict younger people having a look as it will want them to play the game and get others
to play it too. My game will not offend any social groups, any religions or ethnicities as
myself of different religion, I would not do anything to offend others. I have no logo for my
game so it will not offend anyone. My product will not get sued for copyright as I am
making it my own style.
