www.imsinternational.com
IMS is pleased to announce a cooperation with IMC MetalFusion to widen our services.
IMC MetalFusion has been recognized as the worldwide leader for field applied large scale
metalizing under difficult conditions since 1994. Applications include ships, rig, dam gates, bridge
rehabilitation, new fabricated steel, power plants, oil refineries, petrochemical plants, pipelines,
oilrigs, and railroad cars.
Thermal spray Metalizing is used to protect/coat corrosion and rust on all type of steel and iron.
Areas in the maritime segment is ballast tanks, on deck, wear areas on the bow, cavitation on
the rudder and other potential corrosion areas.
The sprayed area is immediately ready for use and has no porosity. Competitor machines have
30-40% porosity and needs after treatment to get the best results. This is not necessary with
Metal Fusion.
IMC utilizes only certified wire such as zinc, aluminum, 85/15, monel, hastelloy, etc. IMC is able
to arc thermal spray any other metals that can be drawn into wire form. The equipment is
certified by the American Bureau of Shipping for speeds equaling airless paint systems.
