2. Conjunction are words that join
words, phrases, or clauses.
There are two general types of
conjunctions:
coordinating conjunctions and
subordinating conjunctions.

And joins two words.)
Ex. 2. The shoes were not blue suede nor black
leather. (Nor joins two phrases.)
Ex. 3. It wasn’t a costume party, yet many came
dressed as legendary villains. (Yet joins two
independent clauses.)
