• The technological devices used in a Smart City implementation
has a certain lifecycle to it, and,
• When the implementation is driven focused on edge devices like
IoT sensors and its supporting infrastructure, it is bound to get
obsolete
• Heterogenous inputs from various departments may change over
a period of time.
• Today’s smart city architecture does not provide an opportunity
to revisit the requirements, make changes on the fly or adapt to
situations arising in the future.
