WHAT DO YOU DO AT SONY?
I currently have an internship within Internal
Communications at Sony Mobile in Lund, Sweden.
My daily work includes writing articles for the intranet,
as well as messages and internal announcements,
while planning both internal and external events.

SONY?
Being young at Sony means a lot of opportunities and
positive challenges. For me, working with Internal

to develop my skills.

WHAT DO YOU DO AT SONY?
I work as a Software Engineer developing the
Calendar and Alarm applications, and am based in
Lund, Sweden within Development Europe at Sony
Mobile. Previously I was part of a graduate
programme, working within the TextInput and
Lockscreen teams.
WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR BIGGEST
ACHIEVEMENT AT SONY SO FAR?
In my opinion my biggest achievements at Sony so
far are that my teams and I have always been able
deliver, with great quality and on time, even though
we have had big commitments with tight deadlines.

WHAT DO YOU DO AT SONY?
I am in my second year of the Sony European
Graduate Programme, working in the Category
Business Management team. This is part of the
product marketing department in Sony Mobile, based
in London.
WHAT ARE YOUR FUTURE ASPIRATIONS?
I have a hope that one day I can make a change to
the world, even a tiny one. And I hope Sony could be
the platform where I can make this change; like it has
done with WALKMAN, PlayStation and plenty of other
successful products, along with the amazing
experiences and moments it has delivered to people.

WHAT DO YOU DO AT SONY?
In summary, my job is to support sell-through and
create marketing ROI and efficiencies across the CU.
It’s quite a complex, diverse role with a broad variety
of responsibilities. This includes product lifecycle
management, customisation and exclusives, as well
as product positioning.
WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR BIGGEST
ACHIEVEMENT AT SONY SO FAR?
In terms of numbers, it’s the three-fold increase of
accessory sales in the aftermarket within one year. In
terms of personal development, I received a
permanent position as an Account Executive for one
of the main accounts in the UK after being part of the
EGP programme for only 15 months.
THE ONE THING I’VE LEARNT IS…
Never accept “No” as the first answer, combined with
a solution-oriented mindset.

WHAT DO YOU DO AT SONY?
I'm a software developer in the Multimedia Create
section. My daily work involves fixing bugs in the
multimedia framework. I've also been involved in the
research for a new feature, which included creating
demo material in the form of Android applications to
prove a concept.
WHAT IS THE VIEW LIKE FROM YOUR DESK?
Sony’s Lund office is in the most northern part of the
town. I work in an office landscape close to a
window overlooking the highway and the
construction of Lund’s new research facility MAX IV.

ACHIEVEMENT AT SONY SO FAR?
I'm proud of the work I've done researching for the
new feature. It’s been a lot of hard work but I’ve

WHAT DO YOU DO AT SONY?
I am currently working in Sony Mobile as Account
Executive for the Vodafone UK team. My team and I
are responsible for all Sales and Marketing activity
with Vodafone, with the objective of driving Sony
business with our key partner. One of my specific
projects includes establishing the new Sony
SmartWear portfolio within Vodafone and together
developing compelling propositions for consumers.
DESCRIBE WHAT A TYPICAL WORKING DAY
AT SONY MOBILE IS LIKE.
A typical week at Sony is varied and fast moving.
Within the Sales and Marketing account teams the
majority of your time is spent visiting partners to
ensure the successful implementation of the next
product and marketing executions. When you are not
away delivering presentations and hosting key events
your time is spent meeting with internal teams to plan
