Socket Fusion Joint
This technique consists of simultaneously heating both the external surface of the pipe and the
internal surface of the socket fitting until the material reaches fusion temperature; inspecting the
melt pattern; inserting the pipe end into the socket; and holding it in place until the joint
cools.Mechanical equipment is available and should be used for sizes larger than 2 inch diameter
to attain the increased force required and to assist in alignment.
Follow these general steps when performing socket fusion:

Butt Fusion Joint
The most widely used method for joining individual lengths of large diameter polyethylene pipe is
by heat fusion of the pipe butt ends.This technique, which precludes the need for specially
modified pipe ends or couplings, produces a permanent, economical and flow-efficient connection.
Field-site butt fusions may be made readily by trained operators using specially developed butt
fusion machines that secure and precisely align the pipe ends for the fusion process.
The six steps involved in making a butt fusion joint are:

Electro Fusion Joint
This technique of heat fusion joining is somewhat different from the conventional fusion
joining.The main difference between conventional heat fusion and electro fusion is the method by
which the heat is applied. In conventional heat fusion joining, a heating tool is used to heat the
pipe and fitting surfaces.The electro fusion joint is heated internally,either by a wire coil at the
interface of the joint or, as in one design, by a conductive polymer.Heat is created as an electric
current is applied to the conductive material in the fitting.
General steps to be followed when performing electro fusion joining are:

Features:
1. Silicon core pipe is a new kind of composite pipe with silicone solid lubricant in inner wall,which
be widely used in optical communication network system of highway, railway,etc.
2. Adopt the mode of multi-machine co-extrusion, silicon core layer is synchronizely embedded in
the pipe. It will be lubricated and not be stripped forever.
3. The friction coefficient of the inner wall is very small. Optical cable (electric cable) can be
repeatedly extracted and tensioned in the pipe. By using cable blowing machine, one time blowing
length can be 1000 to 2000 meter under normal conditions.
4. Waterproof, damp-proof, can avoid the damage by rodent animals.
5. With great ring stiffness and toughness. In construction, its bending radius should not be less
than 10 times of the external diameter of the pipe.
6. Aging-resistant, anti-corrosion of chemicals. With long service life, and will not deteriorate within

1.Product structure
This series of products are new-type medium, high or low-pressure composite pipes reinforced by
high-strength plastic-covered steel wire and covered with composite thermal plastic at internal and
external surface. Owning to the reinforcement is covered in continuous thermal plastic, this kind of
composite pipe not only overcomes shortcomings of steel pipes and plastic pipes, but also has
common advantages of steel pipes and plastic steels. After the galvanized pipe is prohibited, it is a
revolutionary technological achievement for architectural and municipal water supply pipe and
also solves the urgent needs for large-diameter rigid pipes in petroleum, chemical engineering,

● The anti-corrosive surfaces have the corrosion resistance as high as plastic pipe.
● Operating temperature is high and heat conductivity coefficient is low, so insulation of outer wall
is unnecessary in winter and no condensation will be formed in summer.
● The inner wall is smooth and free of any scale sediment, so the head loss is 30% lower than that
of steel pipe.
● The technology to connect pipes by electric melting is mature, electric-melting joints are highly
resistant to axial tension and multiple fittings of various specifications and varieties are available.
● It is convenient for transportation and construction because its weight is light. This pipe is high in
general reliability. And, under normal circumstances, its service life is up to 50 years.
● It is the best substitute of galvanized pipe because it is low in cost, hygienic and non-toxic.
3.Product standard compliance
Its hygienic indexes shall meet provisions in GB/T17219 “Standard for Hygienic Safety Evaluation
of Equipment and Protective Materials in Drinking Water”.
The product shall meet provisions in standard CJ/T189-2007.
4.Technical requirements
The color is generally black and also can be decided according to mutual agreement of the supply
and requisitioning parties. The internal and external surface of the pipe shall be smooth, may be
