3. The highlight of the tournament was Team Sea View, a team of married
women who turned up for the event and put on a really great show.
They lost in the semi-finals to UK united.
They were playing after a gap of 9 years and couple on them had
delivered babies via the C- section just five (5) months ago, however
nothing could stop them from playing the game and putting up a great
fight. The husbands were present to showcase their support and took
care of the infants while their wives went on the football field to display
their talent. During the breaks between the matches the mothers were
feeding their babies and putting them to sleep, displaying the true spirit
of women and how they can multitask.
“Sportnicians - The Sports People” Salutes Team Sea View and their
supportive husbands and families. It really highlighted the reason why we
organized the Women’s Day Cup.

5. The tournament was officiated by
qualified and experienced referees.
The referees ensured that all matches
were played in true sportsmanship
spirit.
All the teams and players accepted all
the decisions given by the referees
which ensured that the tournament
was concluded very smoothly.

The tournament was won by Bandra
Packers as they defeated UK united
in the hard fought finals.
The winners pocketed a cash prize along
with a glittering winner’s trophy and medals.

awarded a Trophy.

The tournament was a grand success
and terms have confirmed their
participation for the next tournament
to be organized by “Sportnicians – The
Sports People” as they were extremely
happy about the event being well
organized.
