• Over temperature of modules are coming due to dust blockage in heat sink of
modules. Procedure of the same giving in slide 5.
Over temperature
• There is a leakage from the plate inside the panel, informed engineer to seal that
leakage by silica gel after cleaning the panel (as per slide 3)
Dust in panel
• This is basically due to dust on cards and optical fiber connectors. After cleaning
of panels & sealing the air leakage, optical fibre connectors to be clean in IOH.
PWR UCE
• This fault majorly comes due to temperature rise and that is happening due to
blockage of air filters of HLC doors.
HLC door filters has to be clean in interval of 3 months and in case if those are
permanently block and unable to clean then those has to replace with new. (slide
4)
M9000 fault
• Old couplers to be modify by zonal railway as per RDSO revised drawing no.
RDSO/PE/SPEC/AC/0177 (Rev.01)-2013 (Date of amendment 29/11/21)
Couplers
• F50 & F51 fuse of 6.3 amp to be replace by 15amp fuse.
• (250 locos completed out of 590 locos)
Control Fuse
• In a phase manner arranging input chokes to different shed for replacement of
suspected lot of input chokes
Input Choke

 Leakage of air is there on top & bottom of plate mounted
in front of the blower. With the help of silica gel that need
to be seal.

 In interval of 3 months HLC door filters has to clean, so that proper
air circulation will happen inside the converter. In case if those are
permanently block and unable to clean then those has to replace
with new.
 After cleaning the same fit the filters properly and close the door

Process For Cleaning Of Heat Sink Of Modules
(Only in IOH OR when HLC removed from the loco)

Step-1:- remove top
and bottom louvers
Step-2:- Take high pressure air pipe from shed and insert it
from the gaps of impeller of blower towards downside.
Step-3:- Move/shake the
pipe from right to left and
left to right for approx. 5 to
10 min
Step-4:- Repeat the same process from other louver window
