Here are three steps you can take to increase the conversion rate in a Google Ads campaign: change match type, keep the Negative Keywords list updated, and pause non-converting keywords.
1. Google Ads: How to reduce clicks
and increase conversion rate
Change Match Type
Change match type from broad to [phrase] or "Exact" to reduce the number of
queries that will match your keywords.
Add Negative Keywords to the Negative List
If a word or a set of words are triggering your ad and are not relevant, add those
keywords to the Negative Keywords List.
Pause Non-converting Keywords
Pause any keywords that trigger the Campaign but are not delivering any results.
The campaign will be easier to manage and the Conversion-Rate will increase.
