 Maintain and test fiber optic cable
 Reviews, interprets and works with information on trunk orders, facility orders, MTO
(Message Trunk Orders), NDO Network Design Orders) and/or CLO (Circuit Layout
Orders).
 (FDM) and Time Division Multiplex (TDM) equipment.
 Interfaces with other work groups (e.g. Central Office Assignment Center, Access, etc)
to ensure that committed service and test dates are met and to test the integrity of
service prior to customer release. Works directly with customers to insure that services
and applications are working properly and are in conformance to specifications
 Utilized GUI and command line interface to interact with all network elements
 Installed Linus based software updates and maintained database configurations
 Performed isolations and corrections of DS. T! ECI! T#, STS1 & Sonet OC-N
 Worked in conjunction with interoffice trunk-line, GR-303& ISDN BRI & PRI
 Responsible for fault management of multiple fiber optic networks
