1. August 4-6, 2017Fest-Of-Ale at the Missouri Botanical Garden (Fri. May 18, 6 pm-9 pm) — It’s the 11th annual festival at the
Garden, celebrating local beer with tastings from the region’s best microbreweries. Ticket price includes a commem-
orative tasting glass, beer sampling, and live music. Food available for purchase. Bring cash for the “Biggest Beer
Basket West of the Mississippi” raffle. Admission: Members $30, non-members $40, designated drivers $15; must

Tribute to George Michael at Powell Symphony Hall (Fri. May 18, 7:30 pm) — Celebrate the life of one of

Taste of Maplewood at Sutton just south of Lindbergh Blvd. (Sat. May 19, 12 pm-8:00 pm) — For over the
past 10 years, the Taste of Maplewood street festival has been bringing together foodies, shoppers, and music lov-
ers to enjoy the bites, sights, and sounds of a city known for everything hip and happening. Event is free to attend.

The Muny’s 100th Birthday Bash in Forest Park (Sun. May 20, 1 pm-5 pm) — Celebrate 100 years of Muny
magic during its Centennial Birthday Bash. This free musical-themed street fair features nearly 20 food trucks, local
craft beer, a Ferris wheel, live music, a petting zoo, backstage tours, reunion group photos and an abundance of
selfie opportunities. Use hashtag #Muny100 during the event to be featured in a photo mosaic of the theater’s logo.

Scoops of Fun at The Magic House in Kirkwood (Sat. May 19, 6:00 pm-8:30 pm) — A unique chance for
families to sample sweet treats from some of the best dessert and ice cream shops in St. Louis—all under one mag-
ical roof! In between dessert breaks, children and their parents will be free to play throughout The Magic House.
Face painting and other fun surprises will be waiting around every corner. Note: The Magic House will be closed to

A Rendezvous with the Past at Faust Park (Sat. May 19-Sun. May 20, Sat. 4 pm—Sun. 9 am) — Camp out
