Rick van Dijk graduated as an economist at Erasmus University in Rotterdam. After working at several hospitals, het started working at the Dutch Journalism Fund in 1999. He is now responsible for the internal organization (ICT, accounting, etc.) and the decision making process around grant applications for innovation projects. Main interests on a professional level are: technology & innovation, media & journalism and business & economics and the link between them. In his hometown Zoetermeer he participated in several local organizations and is now chair of the board of the public library.
