Put yourself in your customers' shoes.
Your keywords should be the words or phrases your customers might use
when searching for your product or service.

3. FIND OPTIMAL AD POSITION
Relevance between keywords, ads and landing pages drive qualified traffic and
lower cost per click.
“Many advertisers make the mistake of overpaying for keywords with the idea
that the first ad position will generate more conversions for them.”

For the majority of advertisers, this isn’t the case. Instead, the first ad position
generates a higher volume of clicks that ultimately don’t convert, resulting in a

Pace your ad spend for higher ad positions.

First, if you’re a business-to-business marketer and the vast majority of your
target market is searching during business hours, it’s worthwhile to pause your
ads during the middle of the night to avoid paying for clicks that are unlikely to
convert.
Using day parting to pace your ad spend throughout the day can result in
higher ad positions at a lower CPC later in the day when there’s less
competition.

5. USE NEGATIVE KEYWORDS
Negative keywords can help you reach the most interested customers, reduce
your costs, and increase your return on investment (ROI). When you add terms
as negative keywords, your ad won't show to people searching for those terms
or visiting sites that contain those terms.

about things you don't offer.
