RECOMMENDATIONS
Creation of awareness about CSR initiatives to general public, along with stakeholders including the media to
highlight the good work done by corporate houses in this area.
Address the issue of building effective bridges amongst all important stakeholders for the successful
implementation of CSR initiatives
Involve SME’s to participate in the CSR initiative, as only medium and large corporates are involved right now
Actively consider CSR interventions in rural areas on education, health, girl child and child labor as this will directly
benefit rural people, as corporates are concentrating only in Urban areas right now
The Government should consider rewarding and recognizing corporate houses and their partner non-governmental
organizations implementing projects that effectively cover the poor and the underprivileged
Introducing CSR program in study curriculum especially at Business Schools
Avoid duplication of the program from different companies in same geographical space with similar initiatives
